Greensky Bluegrass Returns to Northwest String Summit in 2020
Northwest String Summit Announces 2020 Initial Lineup
The 19th Annual Northwest String Summit will return to Horning’s Hideout in North Plains, Oregon on July 16 – 19, 2020.
This festival-goers favorite just released their initial lineup, and fans will be pleased to hear that Greensky Bluegrass will be returning after skipping 2019. But that’s just the start of exciting musical additions for String Summit attendees.
Umphrey’s McGee is scheduled to play one rare acoustic set and one fully electrified set, and Yonder Mountain String Band will return as the long-time festival hosts. The Infamous Stringdusters and Fruition will both get two sets, while Canadian outlaw country golden boy Colter Wall will be playing the festival for his first time.
Other noteworthy additions are Larry Keel Experience with Kyle Tuttle, the festivals artist-at-large. If we had any say, Kyle would be a permanent addition to the band.
Sam Bush Band knocks this festival lineup out of the park, but there’s more!
Keller & The Keels, Greensky Bluegrass side project Dave Bruzza: Unsafe At Any Speed, Handmade Moments, Them Coulee Boys, Benny “Burle” Galloway, Cascade Crescendo, Brad Parsons Gospel Hour, Upstate, Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley, Armchair Boogie, Pixie and the Partygrass Boys, Bowregard, Chicken Wire Empire, Lost Ox, and 2019 Band Competition winners, One Way Traffic, with many, many more to be announced soon!
Cody “Chicago Farmer” Diekhoff is releasing his sixth studio album, “Flyover Country.” The album has a common thread, a love and respect for regular folks, those who might be overlooked and underappreciated.
